I can't believe I'm writing about Terrell Owens again. This guy gets more ink than the Harry Potter section at Barnes & Noble.
When the loud-mouthed wide receiver was unceremoniously dismissed from the Philadelphia Eagles, he missed most of one NFL season. Then, the Dallas Cowboys and their bullheaded leader, Bill Parcells, decided they could bring Owens around, so Dallas signed him in the offseason.
Most NFL football fans believed that Owens would get to camp, nuzzle up to quarterback Drew Bledsoe and all would be well, at least for a few weeks. Wrong!
Before Bledsoe could toss Owens one tight spiral, Owens was disdaining practice, as if it were a trip to the dentist, mouthing off about former teammates in Philly and missing team meetings in Dallas.
He's been fined nearly ten grand already, and Parcells has gone on record saying he won't play, if he's not ready.
Now, this is the absolute last time Terrell Owens is getting any run in this space, but there is very little doubt that his antics will end soon, or that he'll last much longer with the Cowboys.
Here's hoping Dallas cuts this jerk once and for all and the NFL turns its back on him forever.
If I never hear another word about Terrell Owens, life in the world of sports will be that much better.
