Wow, you sure lose respect fast for an undefeated national champion. Maybe this is just a coach trying to take the media heat off his team, so they can forget it, bear down and hope one loss gets them a chance to defend.

Good on OSU. But he's looking for anything to deflect the heat, even if it makes him look bad. That's good coaching, I think.

I appreciate your take, Brent, but I'd rather see him deflect media attention in a way that doesn't appear disrespectful to OSU.

Brown made it sound like having more time would have given Texas the game. More time would have just widened Texas' margin of defeat, I believe.
